Swedish Massage
For those of you that are new to massages, this is an excellent introduction. Relax your muscles and soothe away stress and experience an increase in vitality. The massage therapist can will use light to medium pressure and the massage can be for the full body or she can focus on a specific areas such as the neck, shoulders, back or feet.
Deep Tissue Massage
More adventurous? In need of deep muscle manipulation after an intense workout? A deep tissue massage is great for many “knots” in your body. It uses more intense pressure than a Swedish massage and is great for athletes and people who do intense workouts.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
For those of you with the following: pre and post surgery, sports related injuries, lymphedema, lipodema or venous insufficiency, prepared to be amazed! Swelling is significantly reduced as is pain along with quicker healing time. Increasing lymphatic flow is the answer and the treatment can be started before and continued just hours after surgery.
Hot Rock Therapy
Allow the heat of rocks to unwind your body. Special basalt rocks are used for the session. The massage therapist can use light to deep pressure with the rocks. Applying this technique can relax tense muscles and permit a deeper manipulation for longer lasting and more effective results.
Hot Swedish Massage
A delightful addition to a Swedish massage. Towels are steamed with a special aromatherapy oil and used to help deepen the state of relaxation. The hot towels are placed into special areas of the body based on the clients needs. In addition to the hot towels there is a hot towel foot treatment.
Oil Drip Aromatherapy Massage
One of the most relaxing massages that Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center offers! Several different aromatherapies are used during the session.
