Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is proud to kick-off their annual walk with the special event, "Passionately Pink: A Beauty Event for The Cure" held at Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center on August 18th from 6-9pm.
The complimentary event will feature beauty demonstrations, computer imaging, color consultations from Hair by Scott and informal modeling of Lilly Pulitzer's 2009 Resort Collection(including her famous pink jeep) by SMAC patients. Ten percent of the evenings sales will be donated to Making Strides for the Cure. The event will feature silent auction packages from SMAC and other popular area businesses, with values ranging from $100 to 1,000 and prizes including a salon makeover, art, boutique accessories and travel packages, and will evoke the calming, care-free atmosphere of Coastal High Society of the 1950s.
Specials on procedures and treatments will be offered throughout the night by SMAC, along with free food and beverages from Vic & Angelos, desserts by Two Fat Cookies, sparkling liquor by Nuvo, an outdoor lounge area from Luxe Magazine, mini-makeovers, a New Beauty booth.
