Belotero is the newest addition to our line of cosmetic fillers at Sanctuary Medical Center in Boca Raton. It was approved by the FDA in November of 2011. Belotero is a soft, dermal filler, comprised of hyaluronic acid-based cohesive gel.

How Does It Work?

Since Belotero® is a hyaluronic acid based product, it is naturally recognized by the body as it is made of the same volumizing and moisturizing components of the skin, whereas traditional fillers may enlarge dermal spaces and lift the skin, leaving bumps.  In turn, Belotero® is absorbed naturally into the skin allowing for discrete enhancement without disrupting the natural contours of your face and minimal recovery time. 

Belotero® Basic (22.5mg/ml of NaHA) is an ideal product for volume enhancement treatments and can be used for the following:

• Deep Furrows
• Lip Augmentation
• Nasolabial folds (parentheses around the mouth)
• Glabellar lines (in between the brows)
• Correction of facial depressions wither due to injury or age related scarring
